This package, Into the Realm of the Snow Leopard, takes you beyond the Greater Himalayas into a land where these elusive big cats are thriving. To survive in the wild, snow leopards have developed remarkable adaptations and behaviors. This is an activity-based package designed to let you follow snow leopards without pressure of spotting them. Reaching Snow Leopard Haven is easy, requiring jus a 1.5-hour trek from Tanki Manang Village, locaed at the road head.

In Snow Leopard Haven, you step into their world—where snow leopard play, raise their cubs, hunt their prey, such as blue sheep, and establish intricate communication. Blue sheep are widely seen prey species around Snow Leopard Haven. This experience is crafted from firsthand accounts: sightings by local people, camera trap records, encounters by snow leopard scouts, and research by the BIOCOS NEPAL TEAM, led by Dr. Paras Bikram Singh, who has been studying snow leopards since 2017 (https://doi.org/10.1016/j.gecco.2025.e03401).
